Bharat H. Sangani, MD, FACC, MRSH (London), MBBS, MCPS (Bombay)

            Dr. Sangani is a graduate of King Edward Memorial Hospital, University of Bombay, India.  Following graduation and immigration to the United States, he completed three years of Internal Medicine training at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.  In addition, he completed two years of specialized training in cardiovascular medicine at the same institution in Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA).

 

            Dr. Sangani relocated to Gulfport, MS in 1988 and joined with Memorial Hospital at Gulfport ot initiate a PTCA program.  Since then, thousands of patients have been serviced through the cardiovascular program at Memorial Hospital.

 

Stephen W. Baker, MD, FACC

            Dr. Baker is a graduate of the Indiana School of Medicine.  Following graduation, he completed three years of Internal Medicine training at St. Vencent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.  In addition, he completed three years of specialized training in cardiovascular medicine at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

            Dr. Baker relocated to Gulfport, MS in 1990 to join into a partnership with Dr. Sangani.  Dr. Baker performs a high volume of diagnostic catherterizations, PTCA’s, Stents, and other numerous cardiovascular procedures.

 

Jay J. Libys, MD, FACC

            Dr. Libys is a graduate of West Verginia University School of medicine. Following graduation, he completed three years of Internal Medicine traingin at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.  In addition, he completed three years of non-invasive cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.

            Dr. Libys joined Coast Cardiology Center in December 1995 as a staff cardiologist. Since then, he has become a full partner and covers several hospitals in the MS Gulf Coast area. Dr. Libys specializes in the non-invasive areas of cardiovascular medicine such as echocardiograms, TEES, and Nuclear studies.

 

Manoj P. Shah, MD, FACC

            Dr. Shah is a graduate of Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda, India. Following graduation, he completed his internship and Residency at Cook County Hospitial in Chicago, IL. Following completion, he completed his Fellowship in Adult Cardiology also at Cook County Hospital. In addition, he completed one year of preceptorship at the Cardiovascular institute of the South in Houma, LA. Dr. Shah specialized in training of cardiovascular medicine for Interventional Cardiology.

            Dr. Shah joined Coast Cardiology in January of 2001. Dr. Shah specializes in interventional cardiology such as diagnostic catheterizations, PTCA’s and Stents.
